The new Customer Due Diligence rule is the most significant change to BSA since the USA PATRIOT Act, and will require the strengthening of BSA/AML programs nationwide. The May 2018 deadline is quickly approaching, and it is important that your institution is implementing your CDD compliance action plans to ensure success across all of the effected lines of business.
With only 100 days until the mandatory compliance date, Examiners will be requesting to see what financial institutions already have in place. Examiners will want to know about your updated policies and procedures, training, system requirements, board awareness, and overall culture of compliance.
- Leave with a last minute to-do list to ensure your institution is prepared for the May 2018 deadline.
- Impress your examiners by showing them your institution is dedicated to maintaining a strong culture of compliance.
- Network with other financial institutions and learn about their CDD action plans and implementation process.
